Van Driver​/Monitor

Community Connections Inc. is looking for Wheelchair Van Drivers to join our Transportation Services team based in Mashpee, MA. In this role, you will support individuals with disabilities by ensuring safety and providing freedom of movement and access to the community.

• Base Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 / Hour

• Job Type: Part Time, 20 hours per week, Split shift

• Ensure the safe daily transportation of individuals on route.
• Assist individuals entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
• Provide curb-to-curb service in a professional, safe, and courteous manner.
• Conduct and document vehicle safety check prior to each route.
• Monitor the behavior and/or medical condition of individuals with disabilities during daily transport.
• Report and record all incidents to the Transportation Manager.

• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• 2+ years as a licensed driver.
• Ability to assist individuals in and out of vehicles.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Satisfactory criminal background check and drug/alcohol screen required.
