Production Art Technician

This role is not a creative design position. Think of it like a newspaper layout role—receiving artwork and accurately setting it up for production. Precision, consistency, and strong computer skills matter far more than artistic creativity.

This role is a strong fit if you are VERY comfortable with computers and Adobe Illustrator.

• Receive customer-provided artwork and prepare it for production
• Lay out and build production-ready files with high accuracy
• Clean up logos and artwork for digitizing
• Review proofs and follow established artwork procedures
• Maintain organized digital files and archives
• Work primarily in Adobe Illustrator (Photoshop and other Adobe tools are a plus)
• Support production quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction

• Strong, hands-on experience with Adobe Illustrator (required)
• Comfortable working at a computer for most of the day
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow structured processes
• Able to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and work independently
• Prior layout, prepress, or production art experience is a strong plus

This role is not suitable for candidates without Illustrator experience or those looking to “learn as they go.”
