Opportunity Highlights

• Join the busy practice of 1 Cardiothoracic Surgeon & 1 APP
• Experience of at least 100 vein harvests required
• 1:2 call. APP's are called in on average of 10-15 times/year for a procedure. Call is 10 days/month
• Full range of cardiology services, including non-invasive, invasive, interventional, & EP working together with cardiac surgery & vascular surgery services
• Cardiology team consists of 10 physicians, 7 APP's, and 10 fellows
• Located at Mercy One North Iowa Medical Center - 342 bed regional referral teaching hospital
• Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 staffed ED and hospitalist services, helicopter, and state-of-the-art cath labs
• The physicians & staff are committed to providing patient care that is compassionate, appropriate, and effective for the treatment of cardiovascular disease & the promotion of good health

• Comp. guaranteed base salary starting at $157,000/year! + $25k starting bonus! + $30-35k call pay/year - over $210k package in year 1!
• Call Pay: $150 daily rate; $250 Saturday/Sunday/holidays; +$300 for procedure call (~10-15/year); $30-35k minimum call pay/year on-top of base salary

• BC as an ARNP or PA; must be able to obtain an Iowa medical license, DEA, and CSA as well as Mercy One North Iowa medical staff privileges
• Experience required: must have a minimum of 100 vein harvests to be considered for this opportunity.
