Join the team of 1 FT/1 PT/3 PRN OB Hospitalists, 1 OBGYN, and 4 APPs.

• 500‑600 births per year.
• 7 24‑hour shifts per month.
• Level II NICU staffed 24 hours by Pediatric Hospitalists & NICU Nurses with access to an on‑site blood bank.
• Teaching opportunity – Family Medicine residents (in L&D 24/7) & medical students.
• In‑house specialists available for consultation/collaboration (Cardiology, Orthopedics, Reconstructive Surgery, Anesthesiology, etc.).

• Regional health system covering 14 counties, including seven critical access hospitals and 42 clinics in northern Iowa.
• Network service area – approximately 260,000.
• Mason City location: a 342‑bed regional referral teaching hospital named a Top 100 Hospital nationally; easy access to specialists, lab, radiology, pharmacy, and many other services.
• 300+ employed providers across a wide range of specialties.
• Level III Trauma Center offering postgraduate education programs (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine Residency, Cardiology Fellowship, Palliative Care Fellowship).

Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required. Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible. Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center‑North Iowa medical staff privileges. Above‑average communication skills, ability to work with a team. Licensed or eligible for Iowa physician license, Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
