Join our dynamic engineering team to drive innovation and efficiency s role focuses on data analysis, maintenance systems, and capital project management to optimize production processes and ensure safe, efficient operation of our food manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities- Lead engineering and maintenance operations, focusing on maintaining top‑tier performance of building and equipment.
- Drive the development and implementation of preventive, predictive maintenance, TPM, and other high‑impact strategies.
- Take ownership of capital projects from concept to completion, schedule activities to minimize disruption, and deliver on time, on budget, and meet safety, food safety, and environmental standards.
- Manage and mentor the maintenance team, delegate tasks, enforce policies, and promote a safety‑first culture.
- Provide short‑term fixes and long‑term solutions for operational challenges, troubleshooting, problem analysis, and equipment failures.
- Develop, track, and report key performance indicators for equipment reliability, supplier performance, and overall equipment effectiveness.
- Step in for key personnel when absent, ensuring seamless task delegation and operations continuity.
- Drive positive employee experience through coaching and development.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university in engineering or a related field.
- 8+ years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management, development or project leadership.
- High‑level leadership, organizational planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning, and adaptability.
- Advanced technical skills in mechanical/electrical fields (e.g., PLCs, instrumentation, mechanical engineering). Ability to lead resource planning in a large manufacturing environment.
- In‑depth knowledge of maintenance systems, work order process, preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM.
- Experience using exposure monitoring equipment, interpret and communicate results.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word, and effective communication skills in both written and oral formats.
- Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, interpersonal, technical and presentation skills.
- Capable of working long hours, weekends, and physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs.
