This is a full-time, on-site role for an Experienced Tax Professional located in Mason City, IA. The individual in this role will assist clients in preparing accurate tax returns, offer expert tax planning guidance, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and reviewing financial records, applying proper tax laws to client circumstances, and ensuring timely filing of returns.

This position requires excellent customer service and effective communication with clients to address their unique financial and tax-related needs.

• Strong expertise in Tax Planning and Tax Preparation to effectively guide clients through their tax requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of Tax Law and Tax regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy in filings.
• Proficiency in Finance and Tax concepts, including assessing financial changes and implications on tax strategies.
• Additional qualifications:
  
  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Certifications such as CPA or EA are preferred. Prior experience in tax preparation or a related field is highly desirable.
