Job Overview
Trinity Health First Choice is seeking a travel Certified Surgical Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Mason City, Iowa. This is a travel, part‑time, days shift role with 40 hours per week.
Position PurposeAs a First Choice Surgical Technologist you will be deployed across multiple hospital locations and regions, fulfilling short and long term assignments. You will be employed by Trinity Health and receive premium pay, flexible scheduling and travel benefits.
Responsibilities- Float throughout the hospital, across multiple locations and/or regions.
- Apply standard elements of professional practice: assess, outcomes identification / solutions, plan, implement, evaluate.
- Act independently and appropriately within scope of knowledge and experience.
- Retain accountability for delegation, decisions and outcomes.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality and improvement practices.
- Exhibit agility and willingness to take on new responsibilities.
- Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree program graduate in Surgical Technology.
- Certification: CST.
- Minimum 18 months experience as a CST; if no program completed, five years work experience required.
- Not holding concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
- Ability to complete required orientation and training.
- Premium pay, up to $32.00 per hour, plus tax free allowance if qualified.
