Position: Locum - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia Mason City IA
Mercy One Medical Center in Mason City IA is looking to add 3 Locum CRNA's to the team and are needing coverage for the following dates:

2023 Dates needed for regular hours (M,W, F: 6:45am - 3:15pm and T, TH: 7:15am - 3:45pm) - CRNAs will be required to stay late when needed a few times a week.
Clinic Openings

• Dec 18 full week
• Dec 26-29 full week x3

Weekend Call Requirements:

• Must be able/comfortable with OB/epidurals, some trauma, simple peds cases, bread and butter stuff to cover call
• Must stay in Mason City while on call (10 min response time)
• Must be available to cover 3 weekends per month in 2024 - ongoing
• Holiday Call Coverage for 2024 - Required

Needing holiday call coverage for 2024 as well!

• Need Fri/Sun and Sat/Mon for Christmas and New Year's
• Need Thurs/Sat for Thanksgiving holiday
• Willing to travel someone in and offer additional weekday coverage IF they can offer substantial weekend call coverage!!

The really sick peds and truly complicated trauma is almost always shipped out
There is always a physician on 2nd call to back them up if there is overlap in patient volume or if the case is a trauma they don't think they can handle
Types of cases: OB, General surgery, GI, Bariatric, Uro, Ortho, Neuro, Cardiothoracic, some ENT (most of it is done at the local ASC), some peds. Mercy One is a Level 3 trauma center, so really complex cases are stabilized then sent to a tertiary center.

• NBCRNA - Required
• CRNA must be able to cover dates listed - Required
• Must meet ALL call requirements above - Required (List at time of name clear)
• BLS & ACLS - Required
• IA License or IMLC - Required
• DEA and CSR - Required
• Clean record/license needed for quick credentialing - Required
• ####s in the ####00's if possible - Highly Preferred
• Must have proof of COVID-19 Vaccine - Required - (please list verbal confirmation at time of name clear)

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• ACLS
• BLS
• Controlled Substance (CSR/CDS)
• DEA
• NBCRNA

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :

• Iowa

Weekend Requirements :
Weekend call:
Fridays and Sundays OR Saturdays - would need to pick one of these 2 options. Site is very busy and will not allow back to back call shifts
