About The Job
This position promotes improved patient care outcomes through coordinating effective orientation, education, evaluation, and ongoing development of all support, technical, and nursing colleagues. The role delivers patient care with the multidisciplinary team, applies the nursing process, and maintains professional nursing standards. Responsibilities are split approximately 50/50 between direct patient care and unit-based education.
Hours & ShiftFull time, Day Shift. Call rotation as assigned by unit.
Qualifications- Graduate of a professional nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Iowa or qualified multi‑state license.
- BSN required, or to be completed within five years.
- Certification in area of practice (e.g., CCRN) from the Magnet approved list is preferred.
- Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) credential before employment or within 60 days of hire.
- Mandatory reporting of child and dependent adult abuse within six months of hire, renew every five years.
Minimum of three years professional nursing experience. Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of nursing care settings.
