Current OpeningsWe are currently hiring for the following positions:
Perianesthesia Nurse (RN)Under the supervision of the Medical Director/Nurse Manager, the staff nurse is responsible for the delivery of optimum quality care to patients while in the Pre‑Op Admission Area, PACU, Post‑Op, Endoscopy, and Pain Management areas of the Surgery Center.
Mason City Surgery Center offers competitive RN compensation with recently increased pay scales.
- Current licensure as a RN in the State of IA required.
- CPR certification required.
- At least one year of PACU or post‑operative experience in the last 3‑5 years preferred.
Under the supervision of the OR Manager, the Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting the professional staff of the OR in the delivery of optimum quality care to patients while in the operating and endoscopy room environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- Experience in healthcare preferred.
- Completion of a Surgical Technologist program preferred.
- Successful completion of the National Exam for Operating Room Technicians preferred.
- Certification preferred, but not required. On‑the‑job training is provided for qualified candidates who have healthcare experience and are willing to learn the role.
