About The JobProvide PICC line and midline insertions in the hospital. Assist hospital staff with peripheral IV insertions and troubleshoot Central Lines. Cross‑train to IR for procedure and schedule support on weekends.
Schedule- 36 hours a week
- 12‑hour shifts
- Current State Registered Nurse License or permit from the State Board of Nursing required
- Completion of ADN or BSN preferred
- Completion of PICC course post‑hire
- Demonstrated competence in an acute patient care setting for at least one year in medical, surgical or intensive care setting
- Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS Healthcare Provider) via current card prior to employment or within 60 days of hire and maintenance of current status
- Completion of Mandatory Reporting:
Child and Dependent Adult Abuse requirement within 6 months of hire and renewal every 5 years - Completion of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire and maintenance of current status
- Completion of Level II Cardiac Dysrhythmias and Management class or equivalent within 3 months of hire and annual skill validation for Cardiac Dysrhythmias (does not apply to MFHL resource nurse functioning as a triage nurse only)
