Registered Nurse – CVOR

Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse

Provide specialized cardiovascular operating room nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac surgeries. Ensure patient safety, assist surgical teams, and deliver post-operative care as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient care before, during, and after cardiac procedures.
• Assist surgical teams with instrumentation and intraoperative management.
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and respond to any changes.
• Maintain sterile field and ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately and promptly.
• Participate in on-call duties, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse license.
• Possess current CVOR experience with proven competency in cardiovascular surgeries.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Be able to work variable shifts, including weekends and holiday rotations.
• Be comfortable with on-call responsibilities for additional coverage needs.
