General FunctionResponsible for rotating and replenishing merchandise and ensuring the highest quality standards are met. Additionally, always maintaining a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service to customers and team members.

- Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service, exhibiting caring, concern, and patience in all interactions.
- Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner wherever the encounter takes place.
- Make an effort to learn customers’ names and address them by name whenever possible.
- Assist customers by escorting them to products, securing items out of reach, loading or unloading heavy items, noting and passing along customer suggestions or requests, and performing other tasks to enhance the shopping experience.
- Answer the telephone promptly and provide friendly, helpful service to callers.
- Rotate and replenish merchandise, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Unload trucks and place product in appropriate storage areas.
- Face merchandise.
- Maintain cleanliness in the department, cleaning cases and sweeping the floor.
- Build end‑cap displays and fill them as needed.
- Order product and supplies requested by the department manager.
- Keep the storage area organized, the floor non‑slippery, and the temperature constant and correct.
- Maintain strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress.
- Follow company policies and individual store guidelines.
- Report to work when scheduled and on time.
- Participate in physical inventories (monthly and quarterly).
- Check invoices against delivered product when requested.
- Assist in other areas of the store as needed.
- Perform other job‑related duties and special projects as required.
Must be able to solve practical problems with limited standardization, interpret instructions, perform simple addition and subtraction, record and count accurately, and understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions. Must be able to identify information, request supplies orally or in writing, and manage inventory tasks.
Education and ExperienceLess than a high school diploma or equivalent experience and six months or less of similar or related experience.
Physical Requirements- Perform medium exertion work, lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 10 pounds constantly.
- Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions.
- Maintain clarity of vision at distances from less than 20 inches to 20 feet.
Exposed to noise and temperature extremes continuously; dirt and dampness frequently; occasional equipment movement hazards. Fast‑paced work environment.
