The Junior Accountant is responsible for performing a variety of accounting and administrative functions to support daily financial operations. This role helps managing expense processing, invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and assists with payroll and compliance audits. The role ensures accurate and timely reporting within the company’s ERP system and supports management with financial data and analysis.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Maintaining AR, document bills and supporting documentation
  • Maintaining AP, ensure timely payment of invoices, confirming validity of the debt and gathering appropriate signatures
  • Gathering payroll expenses and input into appropriate entry line
  • Managing income and expenditure accounts
  • Generating the company’s financial reports using income and expenditure data
  • Prepare, issue, and track customer invoices through the ERP system to ensure accuracy and timely billing.
  • Conduct expense and time audits to support payroll accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Support state and internal audits by gathering, organizing, and submitting required documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate data flow and reporting.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (required)
  • Experience with accounting software and data entry (preferred but not required)
  • Proficiency with ERP or accounting software (preferred but not required)
  • Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with spreadsheets
  • Ability to work independently
  • Analytical skills
  • Hours:

    In-office Monday–Friday; overtime as needed to meet demand.
