About the Opportunity:Vernovis is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization to identify a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. This individual will play a key role in supporting company-wide financial operations, contributing to monthly close processes, preparing consolidated financial reports, and assisting with regulatory and compliance requirements.
What You’ll Do:- Lead and support monthly close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Perform balance sheet account reviews and variance analysis
- Assist with preparation of consolidated financial statements
- Support SEC reporting and compliance-related activities
- Partner with external auditors and assist during annual audit cycles
- Prepare financial reporting and analysis for senior leadership and Board-level presentations
- Contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting efforts
- Help improve and streamline financial processes and reporting accuracy
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to work within web-based and internal financial systems
- 2-3 years of public accounting experience or experience supporting SEC reporting
- Experience in a publicly traded or highly regulated environment is a plus
