Job Summary
The Staff Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records to track the accounting activities of the Rhinestahl businesses and corporate service departments. The successful candidate will exhibit a high level of passion for excellence, collaboration, and integrity. Winning this role is accomplished by partnering with fellow accounting team members to develop efficient and effective accounting and business processes leading to accurate reporting of financial results.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization
- Prepare general ledger account reconciliations for various asset, liability, and revenue accounts to support the month‑end close
- Maintain various subledgers including fixed assets, prepayments, and accrued expenses
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Support timely and accurate month‑end close for all business units of Rhinestahl, including international entities
- Verify weekly payments of payable invoices
- Support accounts receivable collections
- Assist AR and AP functions as needed
- Be a key contributor of information and support for external financial statement audit
- Be a key user of company ERP systems (Job Boss & Epicor)
- Understand and support sales tax compliance throughout the US
- Work closely with accounting team members to identify and implement business process improvements
- Support other finance and business partners as needed
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting
- Minimum of 2 years’ finance and accounting experience in a B2B environment (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience with accounting close processes and ERP systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capability
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels
- Ability to prioritize work effectively to meet the needs of stakeholders

- This role is based full‑time onsite in Mason, Ohio
