Performance Responsibilities

* Receives the public, school personnel, and others in an efficient and invitational manner.

* Responsible for sorting mail and packages for distribution to appropriate department or personnel.

* Update and maintain employee mailboxes throughout the school year.

* Responsible for the preparation of documents assigned by the Principal.

* Receives incoming calls and dispatches them appropriately.

* Provide customer service for the general public, as well as students, teachers, staff, and other district personnel.

* Maintain printouts of activities/meetings and important details of events at the front desk.

* Manage parent volunteers for front desk; recruit, schedule, train, and oversee daily volunteer task. Maintain spreadsheet for work schedule.

* Generate student work permits in the State of Ohio website system, as required.

* Manage and utilize the lobby door entrance security access system at front desk (ALPhone).

* Maintain and utilize Lobby guard system for guest visitor badge.

* Issue elevator key (s) to students and staff as needed and maintain a log system for keys.

* Responsible for working open house night and one parent teacher conference.

* Update and assign display cases to teacher/staff; maintain log and key checkout list.

* Assist other departments as needed; including filing when requested or needed.

* Other duties as assigned.
