Scheduling & Billing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule patient testing and procedures
• Interact with physician offices and other health care providers
• Enter patient data into the computer system and complete general office work
• Serve as receptionist for patients
• Communicate any changes affecting the next day’s schedule
• Maintain and secure replacement staff for staffing levels
• Review and correct weekly attendance sheets to ensure accurate payroll
• Verify patient information from physician’s offices
• Communicate special equipment, instruments, and supply requests

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Associate degree in business, Healthcare, or related field (preferred)
• 2 years of previous scheduling and payroll experience (preferred)

Demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills while effectively coordinating patient scheduling and managing payroll processes. Proficient in data entry and maintaining accurate patient information within healthcare settings.
