Car Max is hiring a 2nd Shift Detailer to prepare vehicles for our no-haggle retail experience. You'll clean, detail, and recondition used vehicles inside and out, including washing, vacuuming, buffing, and applying protective products to meet Car Max quality standards. Work in a collaborative, safety-focused environment with clear processes, training, and opportunities for advancement across our nationwide operations. Evening hours and occasional weekends are required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and detail vehicle exteriors, including washing, drying, and waxing to Car
• Max standards.
• Perform interior detailing such as vacuuming, shampooing, wiping surfaces, and cleaning glass.
• Apply dressings, cleaners, and protective products safely and according to procedures.
• Inspect vehicles for cosmetic defects and report issues to supervisors or reconditioning teams.
• Follow standardized workflows to meet quality and productivity targets on 2nd shift.
• Use detailing tools and equipment correctly and perform basic upkeep.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in the detail shop.
• Work collaboratively with reconditioning, service, and sales teams to meet delivery timelines.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and chemical handling.
• Support continuous improvement by following best practices and providing feedback on processes.
