MBS is hiring a Contract Order Initiation Specialist in Mason, OH. This position is full-time, temp to hire opportunity.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review of new machine order paperwork received from sales to ensure all information is complete and accurate.
  • Communicate with sales or inside sales to correct any inaccuracies.
  • Obtain sales and credit approval for each order.
  • Set up project builds in SAP for new machine turnkey and integration project orders, following guidelines to comply with revenue recognition rules.
  • Enter budgets in SAP from PV1 tool for each machine order.
  • Plan revenue and costs using PV1 for each machine order.
  • Consider transfer pricing for machines sold through Canadian and Mexican entities related to project setup and sales order requests.
  • Submit accurate sales order requests to accounting, entering info into BOT with the new ODS system.
  • Maintain support documentation for each machine order on SharePoint and Jira.
  • Manage machine change orders, including updating PV1 files, SAP project info, revenue, costs, and budgets, and submitting change requests.
  • Upload supporting documents to SharePoint and update task statuses in Jira.
  • Review open MC projects to identify those ready for final accounting TECO, working with Install, Material, and Purchasing teams.
  • Review PV1 options to determine project TECO obligations at month-end, including materials and DIFs.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong knowledge of SAP project structure, reporting, and navigation.
  • Expertise in Company Product Structure.
  • Experience with SharePoint and Jira.
  • At least 3 years of SAP Project module experience.
  • 3+ years proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and collaborative environments like SharePoint.
  • Some basic accounting admin experience;
    SharePoint and Jira experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift/move 50+ lbs and perform physical activities such as reaching, grasping, bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, kneeling.
  • Good hand/eye coordination and ability to stand for extended periods.
