Cincinnati College Preparatory Academy (CCPA) is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Instructional Aides for the school year. This is a great opportunity to support academic excellence and student growth in a vibrant K-12 learning environment.
Position Overview
Reporting to the classroom teacher and school leadership team, Instructional Aides play a vital role in supporting the daily academic and social success of students by:
* Assisting with classroom instruction and management
* Supporting individual and small group learning
* Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student success

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide instructional support under the guidance of the classroom teacher
* Help students stay engaged and on-task during lessons
* Assist with classroom organization and behavior management
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to staff
* Support students with special needs or Individualized Education Programs
* Encourage a respectful and inclusive classroom environment
* Support arrival/dismissal, lunch, and transition periods as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
* Experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Patience, flexibility, and a passion for helping students learn and grow
* Ability to follow teacher and administrative directions with professionalism
Work Environment:
* K-12 public charter school setting
* Active, student-centered classrooms
* Regular collaboration with teachers and school staff
