What You'll Do

As an Intervention Specialist, you will:

* Support students with IEPs in inclusive classroom settings through collaboration and co-teaching

* Modify curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs

* Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs with clear, measurable goals

* Conduct diagnostic and functional behavior assessments and create effective behavior intervention plans

* Use research-based and culturally responsive practices to support academic and social-emotional growth

* Build strong relationships with families through regular communication and partnership

* Serve as a key member of a collaborative school team that believes in shared success

* Participate in school-wide events and activities that strengthen community

What We're Looking For

You'll be a great fit if you:

* Hold a current Ohio Intervention Specialist teaching license (required)

* Have experience in inclusion classrooms, co-teaching, or resource support

* New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply

* Are familiar with Ohio Learning Standards and Common Core

* Value collaboration, coaching, and continuous improvement

* Bring strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills

* Are comfortable using basic technology (Microsoft Word, Outlook, etc.)

* Are committed to building meaningful relationships with students, families, and colleagues

* Can pass required state and federal background checks
