Position Overview:
We are seeking passionate and qualified Intervention Specialists. Ideal candidates will develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs; provide direct instruction and support to students in self-contained, inclusive, and/or resource settings; assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed; and foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, empathy, and equity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education, or a related field;
Valid state licensure for Intervention Specialist (mild/moderate or moderate/intense) ;
Knowledge of and experience with students with diverse learning needs, including but not limited to: learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, and emotional/behavioral disorders;
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and colleagues;
Commitment to ongoing professional growth.
