Position:
Specialized Classroom Aide, Monday - Friday
Location:
Mason High School
Working alongside the Mason Academy Teacher, the Paraprofessional provides direct student support, manages student grouping, and maintains a highly structured, supervised learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Classroom Management & Supervision: Support high behavioral expectations, monitor attendance and behavior concerns, and assist in managing the physical workspace (including the intentional grouping/separation of students).
- Academic Support: Assist students with online coursework and provide daily progress monitoring.
- Credentials & State Seals: Help students complete requirements for graduation, manage associated paperwork, and guide students in tracking progress.
- Collaborative & Holistic Support: Coordinate with MHS staff to support student success.
Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass a BCI&I and FBI criminal background check
