Responsibilities
  • Product Development
  • Design, implementation, verification, and integration of VHDL components.
  • Participate in VHDL peer reviews.
  • Analysis of component synthesis, timing, and clock domain crossings.
  • Technical presentations, including internal design reviews.
Benefits

Pay: $50.00-$75.00 /Hr

Hours:

40 hours/week (7:00 AM-5:30 PM Flexible)

Length:
Contract (10 months)

Skills & Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE, EET or ECE) with 8 years experience
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in developing VHDL (VHSIC Hardware Description Language)
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in Model Sim/Questa or equivalent logic simulation tools
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in MATLAB/Simulink
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in Standard streaming and memory-mapped interfaces (Avalon, AMBA)
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in FPGA vendor tools (Microchip, Intel/Altera, AMD/Xilinx)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in electrical stress/derating analysis, FMECA (MIL-STD-1629A), reliability predictions and analysis (MIL-STD-785/MIL-HDBK-217/MIL-HDBK-1547A), Fault Tree Analysis (IEC 61025/NUREG-0492), and system hazard analysis (MIL-STD-882) on electronic and electro-mechanical devices, Aerospace, defense, or government program, reading and analyzing electrical schematics.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE, EET or ECE) with 4 years experience
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE, EET or ECE) with 2 years experience
  • Experience in design for test, quality, reliability, manufacturability, and EMC
  • Experience in Agile Scrum development methods
  • Proficient knowledge of FPGAs and VHDL design
  • Proficiency in digital hardware design, interfaces, and architectures: NAND, NOR, and DDR memory interfaces
  • NAND, NOR, and DDR memory interfaces
  • GigE, 10

    GigE, GigE Vision
  • High Speed Serialize rs and Deserializers (SERDES)
  • LVDS, RS-422, I2C, SPI
  • Understanding of project/task management and technical estimating
  • Facilitate in continuous improvement activities
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing, assembly, and test processes
  • Team work
  • Strong communication skills, including presentations and customer communication
  • Good reprioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently
