[About the Role]
Join our Mason, OH Advanced Effects Space Electronics team as an Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Specialist - Contractor (L4). As the EH&S Site Lead, you will champion environmental, health, and safety initiatives in a highly technical, cutting-edge manufacturing environment. Your expertise will directly enhance the safety and sustainability of our operations, giving you the opportunity to make a tangible impact while advancing your career in a collaborative and innovative setting.

[Responsibilities]

- Lead EH&S programs, ensuring compliance with all organizational, regulatory, and customer requirements
- Collaborate with management, employees, and customers to implement occupational health, facility safety, construction safety, ergonomics, and environmental programs
- Plan and coordinate facility and equipment maintenance with internal teams and external suppliers
- Develop, direct, and assess safety programs to maintain a secure and healthy workplace, emphasizing compliance, contractor safety, sustainability, and monitoring
- Analyze emerging regulations, investigate issues, coordinate resolutions, and perform safety analyses to identify effective hazard mitigation strategies
- Evaluate risk management technologies and provide expert guidance and regulatory interpretation to staff and leadership
- Foster relationships with regulatory agencies, other sites, and EH&S professionals to maintain best practices

[Required Skills and Experience]

- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
- Proven experience in EH&S roles within manufacturing or technical environments
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, facility safety, and risk management
- Ability to independently manage multiple EH&S initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
