Position: Consumer Banker IV (Mason)

Responsibilities

  • Open and maintain client accounts; run teller drawer as required.
  • Support client engagement through active calling, conversations, and timely follow‑up.
  • Perform daily activities aligned with the First Financial Bank Experience, partnering with internal teams to bring appropriate expertise.
  • Ensure follow‑up calls are conducted within the proper time frame and maintain all operational and risk‑management standards.
  • Assist clients to transact business via branch, drive‑thru, phone, and email.
  • Model the way for peers and coworkers, aligning with First Financial’s mission and values.
  • Adhere to all compliance and regulatory procedures, including BSA, AML, OFAC, and other lending/deposit requirements.
  • Partner with District Specialists to execute retail strategies that attract, retain, and grow core client relationships, fulfilling clients’ financial needs and delivering a first‑class client experience.
  • Act as a client’s trusted advisor, adding value and building deep relationships using the First Client Conversation Model.
  • Participate in and lead First Financial Bank Experience activities, such as site‑center huddles and meetings.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales, service and referral goals in collaboration with team, District, and lines of business.
  • Provide digital assistance and service for clients establishing or using the bank’s online offerings.
  • Stay informed and up‑to‑date on all bank products, processes and procedures, especially the most complex ones.
Qualifications
  • 3–4 years of client‑service experience in a retail environment.
  • 3–4 years of sales and service experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales and service goals.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Notary authorization is desirable.
  • Strong bank‑product knowledge and solid sales skills.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Ability to serve a wide variety of client needs according to bank policy and procedures.
  • Capability to lead teams as needed.
  • Works with limited supervision, follows established guidelines, applies them with proficiency, and advises others using subject‑matter expertise.
  • Supports the management needs for the Field Client Manager (FCM).
Physical Requirements
  • Occasionally lifts and carries up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequently lifts and carries up to 10 lbs.
  • Frequently sits, stands, walks, and drives.
Compliance
  • Responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed by state and federal law and First Financial Bank policies, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti‑Money Laundering, OFAC, suspicious activity reporting, and other lending and deposit compliance requirements.
Pay Scale

$23.56/hr – $28.37/hr
