Registered Behavior Technician

Schaefer Education Solutions is an agency dedicated to providing individualized education for individuals with special needs, offering 1:1, in-home instruction for students aged 2-22 years old. As an approved Autism Scholarship and Jon Peterson Scholarship provider for the Ohio Department of Education, Schaefer customizes educational programs to meet each student’s unique needs. Their team of professionals includes Licensed Intervention Specialists, Regular Education Teachers, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Board Certified Associate Behavior Analysts, and Teaching Aides.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Behavior Technician, based in Mason, OH. The Registered Behavior Technician will work directly with children and young adults who have special needs, implementing applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapies and interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Day-to-day tasks include providing individualized behavioral support, collecting and analyzing data, reinforcing positive behaviors, and communicating progress with the team and families.

The role requires professionals who are compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting students in their growth and development.

• Knowledge or experience in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis
• Skills in Communication and positive Behavioral Intervention strategies
• Background in psychology or related fields is beneficial
• Ability to collect and analyze data to measure progress effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and team members
• RBT certification or willingness to obtain certification within a specified time frame is required
• Passion for working with children and individuals with special needs
