Job Overview

Lindner Center of HOPE is a nationally renowned psychiatric center of excellence located in Mason, Ohio, committed to providing state of the art care to patients at all levels of care. We continue to expand our services and are looking for multiple Telehealth Outpatient Therapists to join our team. Our Telehealth Outpatient Therapist team is comprised of Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC), Licensed Independent Social Workers (LISW), and Independent Marriage & Family Therapists (IMFT).

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with other very talented psychiatrists and health care professionals in a variety of psychiatric specialties. We have the largest medical staff of any freestanding psychiatric hospital, allowing you to have access to many professional resources. LCOH is part of the UC Health network and also has affiliations with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and the Mayo Clinic.

The outpatient therapist position(s) applies psychological principles and techniques to provide clinical outpatient care to adult and adolescent patients, providing approximately 30 hours of direct patient care every week either in person or via telehealth. Provides diagnostic evaluations of each patient using empirically based tools and methods, focusing on OCD, Panic Disorder, Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors, and other related behavioral disorders.

Provides ongoing individual, family, and group therapy as indicated using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).

Essential Functions
  • Perform psychosocial assessments for patients and/or families.
  • Formulate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with Lindner Center of Hope (LCOH) social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists and other treatment team members.
  • Maintain knowledge of external resources for patient needs.
  • Perform all required patient care documentation accurately, legibly, and within expected time. Documentation is concise, pertinent and meets the professions and departments’ documentation standards. Oral reporting is clear, concise, relevant, and timely.
  • Liaison with community agencies; participate in area activities related to mental health.
  • Maintain current licensure and participate in continuing education to maintain competency in area of practice.
  • Participate in departmental and LCOH quality improvement efforts; ensure peer review standards are met.
  • Participate in community education and outreach.
