Job Description
Recruiter to support the Information Technology department. Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing recruitment strategies, partnering with leadership to ensure effectiveness, consistency, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Perform standard administrative data tracking tasks such as requisition management, scheduling interviews, candidate follow‑up, initiation of references and background checks, time to fill, sourcing, and diversity outreach reports.
- Build candidate pipeline through direct sourcing, employee referrals, networking and recruiting events, job fairs, conferences, and other recruiting events.
- Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, systems, and reporting requirements; identify and report process gaps or shortcomings as appropriate.
- Track and maintain diversity outreach requirements and documentation by requisition and position, as needed.
- Manage relationships with internal customers/hiring managers and act as their business partner.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and/or leadership to ensure the hiring process is followed correctly and candidates are advanced and communicated with appropriately. Identify corrections needed through the process and address them with hiring managers as needed.
- Source, screen, and present candidates for specific business needs. Manage the candidate flow for each requisition and make recommendations for hires.
Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in hiring, staffing, and recruiting
- Ability to travel if necessary, including overnight stays (approximately 5‑10%)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and intranet/internet tools
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including EEO requirements
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
- Proficiency with major sourcing platforms, including Linked In and Indeed
- Experience supporting information technology roles
