About the Role
IT Quality Control Senior Advisor – responsible for developing testing strategy and master test plan to support testing objectives at our Pulse Point location (4361 Irwin Simpson Rd, Mason, OH 45040).
Hybrid work model: in-office 1–2 days per week and remote otherwise, with Monday–Friday hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Responsibilities- Manage relationships with project/program stakeholders (IT and business).
- Lead and coordinate all testing within a project/program.
- Spearhead design, development, and implementation of testing components.
- Define and employ appropriate testing methods to ensure the product conforms to requirements and design.
- Review and approve all project‑related test assets for completeness and quality.
- Collect testing metrics and report status as defined in the test plan, with supporting data.
- Lead onshore and offshore test execution resources for the project under test.
- Accountable for test data management, including data collection, gap identification, and alignment with configuration and release management on data needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in application testing and IT product quality.
- Experience with Trizetto Facets.
- Broad understanding of industry‑standard testing tools, processes, and practices.
- Mastery of SOAP and API testing methodologies.
- Proficiency with relational and No
SQL databases, including writing, executing, and optimizing SQL and Mongo
DB queries. - Ability to execute multiple projects in parallel with varying timelines, requirements, and stakeholders.
- Experience in a test‑driven development (TDD) and continuous testing environment.
- Strong understanding of application deployment architectures and the ability to communicate testing goals and recommend strategies.
- Ability to organize test plans and test data.
- Experience maintaining documentation for software design, test readiness, and functional and non‑functional requirements.
