Systems Analyst, Technical Support, IT Business Analyst, Data Analyst
We are looking for a co‑op student to assist with the ERP initiative in support of Business Analysis, Testing & Quality Assurance functions.
Position SummaryThis co‑op position will assist IT with the execution of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) initiative in support of Business Analysis, Testing & Quality Assurance business functions which include the following:
- Assist with requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping for ERP modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Procurement.
- Support data migration activities, including data cleansing, reporting, validation, and testing.
- Participate in system configuration under the guidance of senior analysts and implementation consultants.
- Execute test scripts, log defects, and track resolution during system testing cycles.
- Help develop user training materials, job aids, and reference documentation.
- Provide go‑live support, including troubleshooting, ticket triage, and user assistance.
- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements aligned with ERP capabilities.
- Assist with project coordination tasks such as meeting notes, status tracking, and follow‑up actions.
- Hands‑on experience with a full ERP implementation lifecycle.
- Exposure to cross‑functional business processes and enterprise technology.
- Practical skills in systems analysis, testing, data management, and project coordination.
- Mentorship from experienced IT and business professionals.
- Regular and predictable work performance.
- Ability to work under fast paced conditions.
- Ability to make decisions and use good judgment.
- Ability to prioritize various duties and multitask as required.
- Ability to successfully work with others.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Information Technology or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Interest in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel & Visio applications.
- Curiosity, willingness to learn, and comfort working in a fast‑paced project environment.
- Exposure to any enterprise software package. Examples: ERP.
- Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand.
- Ability to pass pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
