Senior Test Engineer
Key responsibilities of Senior Test Engineer with solid Health Care insurance background include:
- Creating detailed test cases to cover various functionalities and scenarios of the software application
- Performing manual or automated tests based on designed test cases and documenting results.
- Identifying and reporting bugs found during testing, including clear descriptions, screenshots and steps to reproduce
- Retesting existing features after code changes to ensure new functionalities haven't introduced any Regression defects
- Working closely with development teams to understand requirements, communicate identified issues and prioritize bug fixes
- Reviewing functional and non-functional requirements to ensure thorough test coverage
- Developing comprehensive test plans outlining testing strategies, scope, and timelines
- Evaluating software performance under different load conditions to identify bottlenecks
- Facilitating testing with end-users to validate system functionality meets their expectations
- Developing and maintaining automated test scripts to streamline the testing process
- Tracking and analyzing testing data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Mandatory Skills required for Senior Test Engineer:
- Solid understanding of Health care insurance - members, benefits, accumulators, etc.
- Strong Experience in Selenium Java for automation testing
- Proficiency in testing methodologies (black-box, white-box, etc.)
- Ability to write clear and concise test documentation
- Understanding software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and E2E ownership skills
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with developers and stakeholders
