- 8+ years of core experience as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA/SA) within the Healthcare Payer industry
- Proven experience participating in AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning) technology initiatives or platform implementations
- Hands‑on expertise driving Agile delivery methodologies and managing backlogs/user stories using Jira
- Demonstrated ability to bridge technical AI/ML concepts with core Healthcare Payer business systems and workflows
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong cross‑functional stakeholder management capabilities
- Professional certification in AI/ML, Data Analytics, or Agile delivery (e.g., AWS/Azure AI Certification, PMI-ACP, CSM)
- Deep domain knowledge of healthcare payer operations (claims processing, enrollment, member management, or clinical workflows)
- Experience authoring detailed functional/technical specifications, API documentation, and system mapping artifacts
- Familiarity with data governance, healthcare compliance, and regulations (HIPAA, HITRUST)
- Hands‑on experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system validation for machine learning models
- We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Systems Analyst with specialized AI/ML project experience to join our team on‑site in Woodland Hills, CA or Mason, OH.
- This role will act as a pivotal technical conduit between business stakeholders, data science teams, and core healthcare platform engineering groups.
- The candidate will leverage 8+ years of healthcare payer experience to analyze complex systems requirements and translate them into scalable AI/ML solutions.
- Operating in a fast‑paced Agile environment, you will utilize Jira to manage product backlogs, write technical user stories, and support release planning.
- This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive innovation and system efficiency within enterprise healthcare technology initiatives.
- Elicit, analyze, and document comprehensive technical and business requirements for enterprise AI/ML solutions within the Healthcare Payer domain.
- Collaborate with data scientists and system architects to translate machine learning capabilities into actionable business logic and system workflows.
- Drive Agile processes including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and writing detailed user stories/acceptance criteria within Jira.
- Facilitate end‑to‑end systems analysis, gap analysis, and process workflow mapping across legacy payer systems and modern AI platforms.
- Manage cross‑functional communications across engineering, product management, and executive business partners to ensure alignment on deliverables.
