Full-Time | Monday - Friday
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
$21.00/Hour

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with suppliers, purchasing systems, and data tracking? We're seeking a Purchasing & Supply Chain Coordinator to support sourcing, quoting, purchasing, and supplier performance management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, solid computer proficiency, and experience managing multiple priorities while ensuring materials are sourced and delivered on time.

What You'll Do Sourcing
  • Utilize company systems to verify material requests, sourcing locations, manufacturing requirements, reorder frequency, and shelf-life information.
  • Research and identify supplier options to support operational needs.
Quoting
  • Create and distribute Requests for Quote (RFQs) to suppliers.
  • Track and monitor outstanding quotes to ensure responses are received within required timelines.
  • Follow up with suppliers as needed to maintain timely communication.
Purchasing
  • Create purchase orders and process quotes within purchasing systems.
  • Route purchase orders for approval and monitor approval status.
  • Track open purchase orders and provide regular status updates.
  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure materials are delivered accurately, completely, and on schedule.
Supplier Performance & Reporting
  • Maintain supplier scorecards and performance metrics.
  • Monitor supplier performance, including:
    • On-time delivery
    • Order accuracy
    • Completeness of shipments
  • Support KPI tracking and reporting initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills
  • Proficiency in:
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Microsoft Word
    • Microsoft Outlook
    • General computer systems and data entry
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Experience with purchasing, procurement, supply chain, supplier management, or administrative support is preferred
