Program / Project Manager, Operations Management
The Sr. Project Manager works closely with Leadership to develop strategic programs to support NACE and Essilor Luxottica transformation and growth. The role facilitates NACE leadership and PMO meetings, participates in launch and evaluation of key initiatives, and partners with cross‑functional roles and corporate leadership to ensure excellence and progress of PMO initiatives. The Sr. Project Manager also oversees specific initiatives, balancing project ownership and PMO administration.
MajorDuties and Responsibilities
- Works with business leaders, regional and corporate, to establish strategic plans and goals for each project and assure alignment with the business unit’s strategic development.
- Provides the infrastructure for effective, efficient project management for priority projects.
- Participates in and supports regular executive updates and annual planning.
- Establishes objectives, assigns tasks, generates and manages budget and resources, and aligns on timelines for intermediate and overall goals.
- Utilizes resources effectively to ensure projects stay aligned to financial expectations.
- Ensures that project deliverables match the appropriate quality standards and business objectives.
- Builds relationships to enable sharing of insights about projects and work streams so that the project portfolio can be managed effectively.
- Ensures that all stakeholders are kept informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensures appropriate monitoring periods and hand‑offs to operational areas for each project.
- Uses data analytics to prioritize opportunities and quantify impact.
- Prioritizes enhancements, quantifies justification, and builds business cases as needed.
- Cascades project‑management best practices throughout the NACE organization.
- Captures and communicates learnings to NACE leaders.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 8+ years of experience in a cross‑functional global environment, successfully running projects.
- Demonstrated leadership and vision in determining and driving strategy decisions.
- Track record of preparing and presenting executive‑level presentations.
- Ability to lead upward, influence decision‑making, and grasp new concepts quickly.
- Strong negotiation, conflict management, and resolution skills working with cross‑functional teams.
- Strong leadership skills to coordinate and motivate project teams.
- Influential presentation skills.
- High level of organization, communication, and facilitation skills with demonstrated credibility with executive management.
- Comfortable working across all levels of the company on high‑profile projects with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, flexible, and dynamic environment.
- PMP Certification.
- MBA or Master’s Degree.
Employee pay is determined by factors including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements.
