Russ Hadick & Associates is partnering with an aerospace manufacturing organization to hire a Wire EDM Operator / Programmer for a precision machining environment.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Wire EDM professional who enjoys working with complex components and supporting advanced manufacturing processes in a job shop setting.
Position OverviewThis role supports Wire EDM machining operations, including programming and setup, to produce aerospace components requiring high accuracy and detailed features. You’ll work with engineered parts and collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure quality standards are met.
Candidates should be comfortable programming Wire EDM equipment, supporting job setups, monitoring machine performance, and verifying part quality throughout production. This environment involves changing parts and setups rather than repetitive production.
Preferred Background- Wire EDM operation and programming experience
- EDM or precision CNC machining background
- Manufacturing or machine shop experience (aerospace strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with precision measurement concepts
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Mechanical aptitude and basic shop math
- Strong reliability and work ethic
Experience with EDM programming software or CNC controls is a plus.
