Manufacturing Supervisor (CNC Machining)

Russ Hadick & Associates is partnering with an aerospace manufacturing organization to hire a Manufacturing Supervisor with strong CNC machining experience to lead shop floor operations.
This role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing leader who understands CNC processes and enjoys building high-performing teams in a fast-paced, job shop environment.
Position OverviewThe Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee daily machining operations, supporting production teams that include machinists, operators, setup technicians, and team leads. This individual will be responsible for driving throughput, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a positive, accountable shop culture.
This role works closely with engineering, quality, and operations leadership to plan production, resolve issues, and improve processes. The Supervisor will also play a key role in employee development, coaching, and performance management.
Preferred Background- 7+ years in manufacturing, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience
- Prior responsibility for leading teams of 15+ employees
- Experience working with complex or engineered products
- Strong understanding of production planning, shop metrics, and continuous improvement
- Proven ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment
- Associate degree, trade school, or equivalent experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
- Experience with workforce management systems a plus
- Lead and support machining teams to meet production and quality goals
- Create a collaborative and accountable work environment
- Coach employees and provide feedback to support development and performance
- Partner with cross-functional teams to address production challenges
- Monitor shop activity and implement process improvements
- Support new product launches and ongoing manufacturing initiatives
