Assembly & Manufacturing Technician
Location:
Mason, OH
Pay Rate: $17+/hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
Multiple shifts available (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts)
Employment Type:
Contract / Contract-to-Hire (Government Contractor)
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Assembly & Manufacturing Technicians to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for individuals with hands‑on experience who enjoy working with tools, following procedures, and contributing to high-quality product output.
Key Responsibilities- Perform assembly of components and products using hand tools and basic manufacturing equipment
- Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and standard operating procedures
- Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support production goals by meeting daily output targets
- Assist with troubleshooting minor assembly or equipment issues
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and compliance requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required (due to government contract requirements)
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments
- Ability to use basic hand tools and read work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Experience working in a regulated or government‑contracted environment
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
- Basic mechanical aptitude or technical training
- Manufacturing/production floor setting
- May require standing, lifting, and repetitive motion throughout the shift
- PPE may be required depending on the work area
- Entry‑level friendly with growth potential
- Multiple shifts to fit your schedule
