Assembly & Manufacturing Technician

Location:

Mason, OH
Pay Rate: $17+/hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

Multiple shifts available (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts)

Contract / Contract-to-Hire (Government Contractor)

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Assembly & Manufacturing Technicians to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for individuals with hands‑on experience who enjoy working with tools, following procedures, and contributing to high-quality product output.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform assembly of components and products using hand tools and basic manufacturing equipment
  • Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and standard operating procedures
  • Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Support production goals by meeting daily output targets
  • Assist with troubleshooting minor assembly or equipment issues
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and compliance requirements
Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship required (due to government contract requirements)
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and read work instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
  • Experience working in a regulated or government‑contracted environment
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
  • Basic mechanical aptitude or technical training
Work Environment
  • Manufacturing/production floor setting
  • May require standing, lifting, and repetitive motion throughout the shift
  • PPE may be required depending on the work area
