We are seeking an experienced, accountable, and growth‑oriented Tree Production Grower Assistant to support our pot‑in‑pot tree operations. This role is best suited for someone who already understands nursery production fundamentals and wants deeper responsibility, technical exposure, and professional development under the guidance of a Lead Grower.

You will play a hands‑on role in day‑to‑day production while contributing to crop quality, operational efficiency, and team coordination.

• Execute planting, spacing, alignment, and layout of trees in pot‑in‑pot systems with precision
• Support daily production workflow and help guide seasonal and full‑time crew members as needed
• Monitor irrigation systems, identify issues, and assist with adjustments and repairs
• Apply fertilizers and pest management treatments according to schedules and established protocols
• Prune, stake, and train trees to meet structural and market‑ready quality standards
• Assist with tagging, inventory accuracy, and shipping preparation
• Record crop observations and proactively report plant health, irrigation, or quality concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑focused growing environment

• Preferred (but not required): 2–3 years of hands‑on nursery production, tree production, or commercial horticulture experience
• Preferred (but not required):
  Exposure to pot‑in‑pot production systems

• Working knowledge of irrigation, fertilization, and basic pest management principles
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting 50+ lbs. and working outdoors year‑round
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high‑quality crops
• Clear communication skills and a dependable, team‑oriented work style
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow into increased responsibility
