Position Summary
Production Associate I is responsible for assembling small to medium size components into quality finished products, per ISO and other regulatory requirements. This position will receive skillset training including soldering, epoxy application, laser welding, good documentation practices, etc. This position falls under the direct supervision of a production supervisor with regular guidance from Team Leads. The associate is responsible for the quality of work and meeting all Quality System requirements for the tasks assigned.
EssentialFunctions
- Under guidance of team members able to pull components required for orders
- Raises issues or concerns with components, processes, documentation, and training when needed
- Responsible for operating equipment and processes per process specifications
- Responsible for accurately documenting time to appropriate manufacturing orders
- Responsible for following process specifications and production rules
- Performs company activities in addition to the above as assigned by production supervisor and/or team leader, Level 2, 3 or 4
- Under guidance of team members performs in-process inspection per process specifications and inspection documentation
- Manufactures quality product while maintaining line output and productivity requirements
- Assists with the packaging and labeling of products per process specifications and drawings
- Able to read and understand work instructions in the English language
- Regular and predictable work performance

- Ability to successfully work with others

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to handle and assemble small parts
- Ability to work using microscopes and other magnifying aids
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Professional interactions with team members and employees
- Ability to read and understand work instructions written in English
- Previous Medical Device industry experience
- Assembly Experience and/or experience in Manufacturing
- Basic technical skills
- Knowledge of cGMP and ISO standards
- Basic Microsoft Office Skills
- Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed
- Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull as needed
- Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift over 50 pounds
- Ability to use hands to grasp and manipulate small parts in repetitive motion
- On demand overtime to meet production schedule may be required
- Ability to pass pre‑employment drug screen and background check
