Position: 2nd shift Liquid Production Line Tech, (M-F 3pm - 11 pm)

The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a Line Technician to work in our Liquid pouch production area in Mason, OH.

Job Description

Successful candidates must be willing to contribute improvements, suggestions and ideas to help our facility succeed. Ideal candidates are safety and quality oriented, adaptable, and willing to work in a team orientated, fast paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform specialized production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards. Currently hiring for M-F 2nd shift (3:00 pm - 11pm) with possible weekend work depending on customer demand.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • History of safe work practices.
  • Availability to work all shifts including second, third, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to perform and train self/others on basic mechanical skills, mechanical repairs, overhauls, maintenance systems, computer skills, preventive/predictive maintenance technologies, problem solving and troubleshooting.
  • Electrical experience: high voltage 240 volts minimum 1 year.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Ability to maintain and operate all equipment in assigned area.
  • Demonstrate successful application of problem‑solving techniques, effective communication and planning.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Outstanding attendance record.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and adhere to quality standards.
  • Achieve qualified score on job skills assessment after passing interview score.

Work Schedule

Monday‑Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm. Overtime possible 4 hours before or after shift. Saturday work possible based on business needs.

Job Overview

Join a high‑energy, fast‑paced team of dedicated operators who help produce nearly 190 million lbs of sauces each year. As a Line Technician you will be part of a team that operates and is the first responder to machine breakdowns across product lines from ranch to syrup.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Setup, start‑up, adjust and operate equipment; proper shutdown, sanitation, and changeover as required to Kraft Heinz standards.
  • Perform all required quality testing/checks and complete necessary documentation (Quality QRMP, sanitation, safety, etc.).
  • With maintenance assistance, troubleshoot basic electrical equipment, maintain and improve electrical control systems, and complete work orders.
  • Communicate and coordinate with maintenance planner, production leadership, and other teams on corrective/preventative maintenance for optimal line efficiency and product quality.
  • Utilize maintenance windows to perform preventive maintenance inspections on all focus line equipment per maintenance plan.
  • Develop and implement improvements using the Break‑Down Elimination (BDE) process to prevent reoccurring failures.
  • Utilize system to document maintenance activities, order parts, and develop work orders.
  • Record and document as required by manual, computer and other systems.
  • Ensure documentation is accurately completed using QRMP guidelines.
  • Manage all supplies associated with the lines, track excessive loss, ensure supplies are accounted for and returned in a timely manner.
  • Accurately complete all paperwork.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Vocational certificate strongly preferred.
  • History of safe work practices.
