CNC Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift
$30 - $45 per hour | Mason, OH | On Site | Permanent
A growing precision manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support second-shift operations in a clean, climate-controlled production environment. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role is responsible for performing advanced troubleshooting, break-fix repairs, and preventive maintenance across a range of industrial equipment and facility systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on production machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Diagnose issues using meters, testing devices, schematics, and technical drawings
- Install, maintain, and repair wiring, controls, lighting, and low-voltage systems
- Support CNC machinery, PLCs, distributed control systems, and related automation equipment
- Perform welding as needed (MIG, TIG, or ARC)
- Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, aerial lifts, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures and all safety standards
- Respond to facility work orders, equipment breakdowns, and preventive maintenance schedules
- Maintain organized, hazard-free work areas and support continuous improvement efforts
- CNC repair/maintenance experience required
- High school diploma or GED
- Maintenance certificate from a technical school or equivalent hands‑on experience
- Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of CNC machines, PLCs, controls, and production equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to read schematics and technical documentation
- Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or with a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)
- Welding experience
- Aerospace, AS9100, or regulated manufacturing experience
