CNC Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

$30 - $45 per hour | Mason, OH | On Site | Permanent

A growing precision manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support second-shift operations in a clean, climate-controlled production environment. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role is responsible for performing advanced troubleshooting, break-fix repairs, and preventive maintenance across a range of industrial equipment and facility systems.

• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on production machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Diagnose issues using meters, testing devices, schematics, and technical drawings
• Install, maintain, and repair wiring, controls, lighting, and low-voltage systems
• Support CNC machinery, PLCs, distributed control systems, and related automation equipment
• Perform welding as needed (MIG, TIG, or ARC)
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, aerial lifts, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and all safety standards
• Respond to facility work orders, equipment breakdowns, and preventive maintenance schedules
• Maintain organized, hazard-free work areas and support continuous improvement efforts

• CNC repair/maintenance experience required
• High school diploma or GED
• Maintenance certificate from a technical school or equivalent hands‑on experience
• Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of CNC machines, PLCs, controls, and production equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Ability to read schematics and technical documentation
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or with a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

• Experience in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)
• Welding experience
• Aerospace, AS9100, or regulated manufacturing experience
