Flexo Press Operator
The Flexographic Press Operator is an essential member of our team, responsible for the manufacturing of printed labels while continuously monitoring label quality and press conditions.
Schedule:
3rd shift Sun. – Thur.: 9:45 pm – 6:00 am
Initial 2‑week training on 1st shift Mon. – Fri.: 5:45 am – 2:00 pm

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment through daily housekeeping.
- Complete make‑ready according to Job Ticket and Product Specification documents.
- Perform required quality checks related to product specifications, visual, and functional checks; complete all press‑side quality checks.
- Operate press to produce product in accordance with customer specifications while maintaining quality, reducing waste, and improving press efficiency.
- Maintain consistent quality during production runs, including copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion checks.
- Follow related procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as outlined in the BRC standard.
- Complete press make‑ready efficiently.
- Perform equipment maintenance duties, cleaning plate, cylinder, and ink pans, and lubricating press as needed.
- Enter required information into the Globe Tek system for material usage and time accurately and promptly.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1+ year experience as a printing press operator or related training.
Require standing, frequent walking, occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds; vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
