Gr 1 General Helper​/Machine operator - Train 3rd shift

Job Overview

The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking General Helper/Machine Operators for its Liquid pouch production area in Mason, OH. The role is hourly, with work on the 3rd shift (11pm–7am). This position requires safety and quality orientation, adaptability, and teamwork in a fast‑paced environment. Successful candidates will perform general production duties, including operating machinery, packaging, and maintaining production records.

• Operate filling equipment and make minor machine adjustments.
• Package finished product and create corrugated boxes and partitions.
• Packing finished merchandise in boxes, sealing cases with tape gun or machine, and labeling finished cases.
• Place finished cases on pallets following predetermined placements.
• Monitor merchandise cases to ensure proper weight and accurate packaging components.
• Follow scrap procedures, maintain accurate hourly machine counts, and react to visual board information.
• Clean and rinse equipment during changeovers.
• Maintain a clean work area and station.
• Label sides and ends of boxes and place stickers or other identifying information as requested by customers.
• Operate packaging machines in compliance with procedures, complete machine set‑ups, product hook‑ups, changeovers, washouts, and roll changes.
• Make all necessary machine adjustments as outlined in the operation guide.
• Accurately complete paperwork, including production work orders, downtime sheets, weight checks, and other documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; experience in a GMP/regulated industry a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry 25–50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Focus on safety with a history of practicing safe work habits.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to call out defects and adhere to quality standards.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and balance changing priorities.
• Positive, team‑focused attitude.

• Starting pay $19.50+/hour.
