Position: $23.80/Hour Starting Rate* 2nd shift Machine Operator, Monday - Friday (3p-11p)

Machine Operators – Liquid Pouch Department

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday, 3 pm – 11 pm (2nd Shift – variable based on assigned work). Overtime is possible and will be either 4 hours before or after the regular shift.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • History of safe work practices.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics environment is required.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to call out defects and implement to Quality standards.
  • Achieve a qualified score on the job skills assessment – to be coordinated after receiving a passing interview score.

Job Overview

As part of our Liquid Pouch Production team you will be delivering supplies to machines and processing kettles that make anything from ranch to syrup.

Responsibilities & Duties

May include – but isn’t limited to:

  • Staging ingredients – moving packaging and product for production runs
  • Maintaining housekeeping in the department
  • Operating filling equipment and making minor changes
  • Machine rinsing and cleaning, assisting in machine set‑ups, ensuring accurate hourly machine counts so that visual boards can be filled accurately
  • Labeling sides and ends of boxes; placing stickers or other identifying information as requested by customers
  • Helping with 5S and other projects – advising inventory specialist of potential or ongoing inventory problems; working closely with lead and/or supervisor to ensure production requirements and customer satisfaction
  • Inspecting locations in designated area to ensure product safety – changing pallets, slip sheets, and covering all ingredients and film; assisting in implementing new procedures and processes for continuous improvement throughout the plant
  • Accurately completing all paperwork
  • Other duties as assigned
