Job Responsibilities Safety- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns promptly.
- Inspect completed products before shipment for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
- Verify components match production orders and engineering drawings.
- Perform dimensional measurements and visual inspections.
- Touch up paint and cosmetic finishes as needed.
- Document inspection results using computerized manufacturing systems.
- Help identify quality issues and support corrective actions.
- Install guards, accessories, and other final components.
- Use hand and power tools to complete finishing work.
- Remove burrs, weld spatter, or surface imperfections using grinders and hand tools.
- Read blueprints, work instructions, and production documentation.
- Support coworkers across departments when needed.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read work instructions and use measuring tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with quality inspection
- Welding, fabrication, or assembly experience
- Experience using ERP or manufacturing software
- Knowledge of dimensional measuring equipment
This position is performed in a manufacturing environment where employees work around industrial equipment and moving machinery. The role requires standing for extended periods, frequent walking, bending, reaching, and lifting with assistance as needed. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and required.
