  • Growth:
Work alongside seasoned pros and expand your experience across Acme, Brown & Sharpe, Davenport, and Hydromat platforms.
  • Support: A collaborative, safety‑first environment focused on continuous improvement.
Your mission

Take a print, plan the setup, and own the run. From selecting tools and dialing in feeds to validating first‑piece results and sustaining quality, you’ll keep production steady and documentation tight while helping the team find smarter, faster ways to work.

Core responsibilities
  • Set up and operate screw machines to achieve print‑driven tolerances and finish.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide setups and inspections.
  • Monitor processes, verify dimensions, and make adjustments to hold quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
  • Accurately record production data and maintain required documentation.
  • Collaborate with teammates on process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
What you bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical machining education preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience as a screw machine operator/setter or similar position.
  • Strong command of machining principles and practical shop know‑how.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Detail‑oriented with a commitment to producing quality work.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience with Acmes, Davenports, Brown & Sharpes, or Hydromats.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
Schedule & overtime
  • Main option: four 10‑hour days starting at 6:00 a.m., Monday–Thursday
  • Friday overtime opportunities
  • Alternative option: five 8‑hour shifts, Monday–Friday
Equipment spotlight

If precision matters to you and you enjoy seeing a plan come to life at the machine, this is a place to do your best work.
