CNC Grind-CBN Huffman Operator

Hi-Tek Manufacturing Inc is seeking a CNC Grind-CBN Huffman Operator to set up and operate CNC grinding equipment producing high-precision components for aerospace, medical, defense, and high-tech customers. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, loading and aligning parts, selecting tooling and CBN wheels, performing offsets, and inspecting parts to tight tolerances using precision measuring tools. You will troubleshoot machining issues, maintain equipment, document production data, and support continuous improvement in a clean, team-oriented, quality-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC CBN Huffman grinding machines for precision components
• Interpret blueprints, work instructions, and GD&T requirements
• Select, mount, and dress CBN wheels, tooling, and fixtures
• Perform offsets, adjustments, and basic edits to maintain tight tolerances
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools and complete quality documentation
• Troubleshoot dimensional and surface-finish issues and correct root causes
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance
• Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and quality to improve processes
