Majestic Care of Cedar Village is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team’s mission and core values.

The CNA is a member of the community nursing team whose responsibility is to assist professional nursing personnel by delivering direct hands‑on nursing care to ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents on a daily basis. The CNA also assists residents to achieve the highest level of functioning while living as normally as possible.

• Perform or assist residents with completing Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Respond to residents’ call lights to provide maximum comfort, safety and privacy.
• Transport residents by ambulation or wheelchair to areas of the community (dining room, lobby, and activities).
• Report significant findings/observations to the nurse immediately.
• Assist residents on admission, transfer, and discharge for a smooth transition.
• Safekeep residents’ personal possessions.
• Keep resident rooms neat and safe.
• Follow proper infection control techniques.
• Respect residents’ rights, especially privacy and confidentiality.
• Re‑teach residents ADL skills.
• Provide restorative care to prevent pressure sores, contractures, and complications.
• Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement and ensure follow‑up occurs.
• Converse with residents and families; assist them in adjusting to the community.
• Ensure adequate hydration and nutrition of residents; report deviations from norm to the charge nurse promptly.
• Perform blood pressure, pulse, respirations, intake/output, and weights accurately.

• Certified and state tested as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of employment; certificate must be active, valid, and in good standing.
